Missing Jesus

Sermon in a Sentence: True worship is seeking Jesus as He has been revealed. 

1. Sitting with Jesus - This section of John’s Gospel emphasizes a movement of sitting with Jesus, being near to Him, to be changed by Him.
2. Missing Jesus - I believe one of the warnings of this narrative is the potential to miss Jesus for the things of Jesus.
3. Seeking Jesus - As we fix our eyes on Christ, beholding his Glory, we are drawn into the true worship of the One true God as He has been revealed.
   When we think about true worship, it’s to not miss Jesus as He has been revealed, to sit as His feet in wonder.
