Rooftop Friends Joy of Giving Respite and Shopping event, Saturday, December 9, 9:00-Noon, in the Fellowship Hall.

The event will offer respite time for families with disabilities and their siblings for parents to shop, rest, enjoy some time away. Volunteers are needed and help is requested for snacks.

The children/adults with disabilities will be able to shop (free) for gifts to give their parents and siblings, enjoy crafts (making gift tags and Christmas cards), games and activities, and snacks while their parents are away. 

Snacks needed include easy to pick up items: celery & carrot sticks, vegetables and fruits (please no sweets!). Contact Ethel Boykin, 395-5949 or etheldozierboykin@yahoo.com to donate a snack.

Rooftop Friends is the disabilities ministry of Young Meadows Presbyterian Church and is a not for profit entity serving families with disabilities through respite care and summer camps.
